Installation Instructions

Pre-Cut Tint/Vinyl Kit installation instructions

**IF YOU RECIEVE VVIVID TINT WITH A CLEAR BACKING, IT COMES WITH A PROTECTIVE FILM THAT CAN BE PEELED OFF ONCE INSTALLED**

Step 1: Clean surface area to remove all dirt and residue. I recommend using water and a clean towel.

Step 2: These overlays can be installed both dry and wet. If you wish to install them wet, spray water onto the surface of the light and the back of the tint/vinyl to allow adjustment.

Step 3: Apply the tint/vinyl starting at one corner and adjust as needed.

Step 4: Once you have the overlay where you want it, you can begin to push out the air/water. Best is to start in the middle and work your way out.

** IF you bought tint overlays that are NEO CHROME, they come with a protective film over them you can peel off after installation if you wish. **

Door Handle Inlay:

We found application without transfer tape works best. As of now, no transfer tape will be sent with door handle overlays unless specifically requested at time of order.

Decals with Transfer Tape: i.e. Flags

The decal is between transfer tape and backing paper.

Flip the decal color side down and carefully peel away the backing paper. Do not let the decal touch the desired surface until ready for application.

Holding the transfer tape, carefully align the decal over desired surface. Align the top corners and the rest should fall into place. Carefully peel back if you need to make adjustments. *Do not press firmly into place until you feel this is the correct placement.

Once placment is confirmed, press firmly starting from center and work your way to outside edges.

Once placement is confirmed and pressed firmly, slowly peel the transfer tape away at a sharp angle.  Make sure you once again press firmly on the overlay once the transfer tape is removed.  If there are any bubbles, a credit card or squeegee can be used to gently push out the air/water out. Best to start in the middle and work your way out.

****If you are having difficulty getting image to transfer from backing paper to transfer tape, do not panic. Slow, steady and patience is key. May options can be tried:
1)You may have to lay the decal back down on a hard surface take a credit card to run over the image again.
2)You may have to slowly pull the transfer tape back and bend the backing paper enough so the decal begins to lift, once you get it to lift lay the transfer tape back over the decal.
3)If it is really giving you a hard time, you may have to pull the trasfer tape back slightly past the piece not sticking (not all the way) and gently slide an item such as a tootpick or anything with a pointy end to gently lift just the corner of the decal off the paper (Becareful not to damage the vinyl by doing this part), then bring transfer tape back over the lifted part of decal. ***

**Helpful Tip for Bubbles: Take a pin and poke a small hole in the center of the bubble. Then push towards center of bubble to get rid of it. **

We recommend installing these in the shade in temperatures above 60* when possible.

Special tools are not needed but we recommend using a hair dryer/heat gun to help cure the adhesive on the tint/vinyl.

If vehicle had been waxed or ceramic coated the vinyl may not adhere properly.

Wait at least 3 days before washing the car to allow the tint/vinyl to adhere to the vehicle.

NOTICE* Check items for any damages. Take and send photos of the damages to us so that we may help resolve the sissue for you. Once tint is removed from white backing, we will NOT warranty any damage claims. Contact us first and we will be more than happy to help.
